Since we met in 1995 we have been travelling a lot -"op jück" as in Maria's dialect- whether on long journeys or short trips.
Beginning of 2001 we started taking digital pictures which we plan to publish over time on our website.
- Maria loved cruises since her first one on the Celebrity Meridian in 1994. She was not sure if I would like it, too, as I did not fancy dressing up. And cruising used to have one or more Formal Nights. This meant in the beginning at least a black or dark suit and tie. But imagine that: after our first cruise together on the NORWEGIAN Dream across the Atlantic I caught the "Cruise Virus" or like hardcore cruise fans use to say "Cruising is addictive!"
- But as I am no fan of group trips we like to go on individually organised independent trips. Maria loves to plan and organise those.
- In between longer holidays, either there was not enough vacation time left while we were still working or out of other reasons after retirement, we also love to go on short trips and/or citytours. The latter often in connection with cruises (start or end of a cruise).
